§         The other says that s/he wanted to go to a friends house this morning but her/his parents made her/him come to church.  S/he doesn’t know why s/he has to come to church since s/he already knows Jesus.

·        Narrator comments that it is good that they came today.

·        In Ephesians, Paul tells us to put on the whole armor of God that we can face life’s challenges.

·        For example, he tells us about sword of the Spirit & the shield of faith

§         Puppet friends listen to narrator but interrupt him/her after s/he mentions the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith.

§         First puppet interrupts narrator and says that’s what I need a sword!  Then no one will make fun of me!

§         Second puppet says that if the other puppet is getting a sword, I’m getting a shield to defend myself.

·        Puppets exit in turn and come up with a sword and a shield respectively.

·        Puppet with sword swings at puppet with shield.

§         Narrator interrupts.  S/he did not mean a sword or shield like they have.

o       Narrator motions to the audience, and they are the shield of faith, the church.

§         Puppets ask how Bible is a sword &  church is a shield.  The nar. explains:

o       The Bible can guide us on how to handle being teased

o       The church can support us when if we draw on that support

§         Puppets are invited to come and learn about the whole armor of God

·        Narrator comes between two fighting puppets.
