…They’ve gone to the young girls… When will they ever learn, Oh when will they ever learn. |
· Three flowers on stage in a row (use a prop box). Each one, in turn, slowly sinks and disappears behind stage. · Girls appear holding flower. |
…They’ve gone to the young men… |
· Girls (one at a time) turn and slowly exit the stage. The boys come up in their place. |
…They’ve gone to be soldiers… |
· Boys exit one at a time, then they return (marching) in uniform. |
…They’ve gone to the graveyards… |
· Soldiers turn and exit one at a time. A tombstone rises in their place. |
…They’ve gone to the flowers… |
· Slowly, a flower rises by each tombstone. |

· One girl puppet, still holding a flower, enters center stage. Bows head. Song ends. |
