OUTLINE OF STORY: |
PROPS / ACTIONS: |
|
· Girl puppet is mixing ingredients in a bowl. · Girl adds things to bowl and talks to herself. o Let’s see, I’ll add a little bit of Virginia, a cup of England, and a teaspoon of Italy. |
· Lights on lower stage · Girl enters on lower stage wearing eye goggles. · She brings a mixing bowl · She uses hand with rod to “add” ingredients into the bowl. |

· Boy puppet exclaims, o Oh boy! Are you making brownies! Can I have some! · Girl puppet responds: o No, silly, I’m not making brownies. · Boy asks: o Then what are you making? · Girl answers: o I’m making disciples of all nations! |
· Boy puppet enters |

· Boy looks at audience o Do you have any idea what she is talking about? |
· Boy looks confused. |
|
· Girl explains o You see, Jesus told us to go and make disciples of all nations. · Boy answers: o Yea, so · Girl continues o So, I’ve got little bits of soil and rocks and things from other nations and am using them to make disciples just like Jesus said… |
· Girl laughs |

o But it doesn’t seem to be working |
· Girl shakes her head and looks disappointed |
|
· Boy explains that disciples are people who follow Jesus. You can’t make a disciple out of things. Jesus wants us to make disciples out of people of others nations. |

|
· Girls says she understands now and has just the thing. |
· Girl exits and takes bowl with her. |
|
· Girl says that her club will do the job and she turns to the boy and says: |
· Girl returns with a club |
|
o Become a disciple of Jesus or I’ll pound you! |
· Girl swings club in boys face and chases him. |
|
· Boy stops her and explains that Jesus doesn’t want us to force other people to be his disciples. |
· Exit club |
|
· Girl doesn’t understand. She asks how can you make disciples if you can’t force people to follow Jesus? |
· Girl shakes her head |
|
· Boy explains that we can make disciples by: o Telling them about Jesus o Helping them in Jesus’ name o Feeding them when they’re hungry o (asks audience what else they can do…then end with the last one) o Forgiving them when they hurt us… |

· Girl is amazed that its that easy · Boy is not sure if it is easy but it is less violent · Girl asks boy if she can forgive him for chasing him with a club · Boy says yes. · Girl asks him if he will help her go and make disciples for Jesus – and no clubs · Boy says yes and they exit. |
· All exit · Lights go down. |
