OUTLINE OF STORY: |
PROPS / ACTIONS: |

Narrator invites the children to come forward and play the part of Jesus disciples: · Now, the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them |
· Lights come up on lower stage · Narrator calls children forward |
|
· When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. |
· Jesus enters lower stage |
|
· Jesus said to them: |
· Jesus acts out words of narrator |
|
o All authority on heaven |
· Heaven appears on the upper stage with keys hanging from it. · Hand with white glove appears on upper stage and takes keys then exits · Heaven exits |
|
o And all authority on earth |
· Earth appears on the upper stage with keys hanging from it. · Hand with white glove appears on upper stage and takes keys then exits · Earth exits |

o Has been given to me |
· Hand appears on lower stage and gives keys to Jesus |
|
o Go therefore |
· Jesus motions for audience to “go” |
|
o And make disciples of all nations, |
· “All nations” prop appears on upper stage · Jesus motions toward it |
|
o Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit |
· “All Nations” prop exits · Jesus motions toward the font · Narrator opens baptismal font and uses free hand to cup water and pour it back into the font with the mention of each name of the Trinity. |

o And teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. |
· Jesus exits and returns with a Bible |
|
o And remember, I am with you always |
· Jesus points to himself then to each of the children in the audience |
|
o To the end of the age. |
· Jesus exits. · (Perhaps, put a black string on the head of the Jesus puppet and string it over the upper stage before the skit begins. The puppeteer may slip his/her hand out of the puppet at this time, and pull the puppet up behind a cloud to exit, ascension style.) |
