TITLE: Let It Snow

STORY SUMMARY: Audience is taught King Tut Dance to be used with Beach version of Let It Snow. Black light puppets dance with audience.

CRUX OF STORY/LESSON: Just for fun.

PUPPETS	PUPPETEERS
1. One giant snowman. Three white sections are connected with sections of a plastic slinky. Use bright white clothe to make snowman. Put on a base with a stick (to move him). Put a string from his head over the top stage. And put a side string (where arms would be) to either side of the stage for side movement.	· One puppeteer operates base and head string. · One puppeteer operates two side strings (to coordinate side to side movement).

1. Tape of song, “Let it Snow” from the Happening Holidays: Christmas CD (can be bought at www.onewaystreet.com	2. Black lights 3. Fluorescent top hat for puppeteer leading dance. 4. White shirt with black buttons for puppeteer.	5. Fluorescent (or just white) gloves for puppeteer leading dance.

OUTLINE OF STORY:	PROPS / ACTIONS:
Teach Dance (in line facing stage) KING TUT (A “tut” is an Egyptian stance. Both arms to side one high and one low) Tut R,L,R,L (Surf right and left) Hitchhike R, L (To get to beach) Roll Arms Down, Up (Waves) Right Hand to L Thigh, L Hand to R Thigh (Put on lotion) Right Hand to R Bun, L Hand to Left Bun (Put on lotion) With both hands on respective buns, hop in place 4 times, & on the fourth beat clap your hands (Hop across hot sand) (repeat until dance ends)	· Stage lights up · Puppeteer comes out and teaches the dance while the other puppeteers set up the slinky puppets. o Put snake slinky puppets on either side of stage o Put other slinky in center
· Puppeteer leads dance wearing top hat shirt and gloves.	· Stage lights off · Black lights turned up · Music starts o Audience dances o Puppet dances up and down and wiggles side to side. · Music ends · Lights go out.
