1.      Easter eggs in a row (Eggs can be on a stick and put down in a hole on a block of wood.  Eggs are pushed up as the colors are sung.

2.      Copy of the song, “The Spectrum Song” from the CD More Silly Songs put out by Walt Disney Records

3.      Paint smock

4.      Paint Brush

 

OUTLINE OF STORY:

PROPS / ACTIONS:

·        Easter Bunny is in a hurry trying to dye eggs for Easter

  • Bunny greets audience
  • Bunny paints eggs with paint brush and talks about all the colors he must use and how confusing it can be.

·        Lights come up

·        Eggs are in a row on stage lined up on a block of wood

  • Each egg has a wooden rod at­tached which passes through a hole in the wood.  Push up on stick to make the egg jump up

·        Easter Bunny is on stage

  • Dressed in smock
  • Has paint brush in hand and is painting eggs

·        Easter Bunny begins singing song

  • Bunny gets confused and starts singing nonsense
  • Song ends, and Bunny wishes everyone a happy Easter.  Says he’ll see everyone soon!

·        Chicken drives bunny away, sits on eggs.

·        Eggs pop up (not necessarily in order) as the colors of the spectrum are sung.

  • As bunny gets confused eggs can be pushed harder

·        Music ends.  Bunny says good-bye

·        Chicken enters

·        Bunny exits

·        Lights go down.
