OUTLINE OF STORY: |
PROPS / ACTIONS: |

· Verse 1 o Well the good news is you’re going to take a bath. o You’ll have such fun you’ll giggle and laugh o You’ll swish away the bubbles with a spishity splash o Well the good news is you’re going to take a bath. |
· Lights come up on lower stage. · Bath tub on stage to one side o Use bubble maker thru out skit. · Lead singer on other side · Practice puppets in center stage o Puppets excited about taking a bath. o Bring up props they will use in tub. |

· Verse 2 o But the bad news is you can’t dance in the tub o You can’t jump down and you can’t jump up o You can wriggle around with the rub-a-dub scrub. o But the bad news is you can’t dance in the tub |
· Practice puppets Dance |

· Verse 3 o But the good news is you’ll be the cleanest you. o No matter how dirty you’ll be looking like new. o You’ll even smell clean and fell clean too o The good news is you’ll be the cleanest you. |
· Practice puppets take bath sponges and wash each other. |

· Verse 4 o But the bad news is you can’t laugh to long o That the reason for “Bath tub song” o Don’t get upset you’ve done nothing wrong o It’s just staying clean can’t last long |
· (Back-ups continue routine on upper stage) · Practice puppet brings up toilet bowl brush – they laugh. o Puppets take turns bring up something for the tub and laughing |

· Verse 5 o And the good news is you’re going to take a bath. o You’ll have such fun you’ll giggle and laugh o You’ll swish away the bubbles with a spishity splash o The good news is you’re going to take a bath. |
· Practice puppets get ready to get in tub o Put soap and everything on stage into the tub. o Practice puppet farthest away from tub picks up item and hands it to puppet nearest tub who puts it in the tub. |
